Create a Custom Domain Email from the cPanel [Guide]

So, if you own a blog or website hosted already on any cPanel based hosting service and want to create a professional looking custom domain email address then this article might excite you.

Here, in this post, I will be explaining how you can create a custom professional domain email for yourself.

Create Professional Looking Custom Domain Email

Let me break the complete process in small-small baby steps so that it’d be easier for you to understand.

Step 1: Login to Your cPanel

First of all, you will have to log in to your cPanel. Generally, you can do so by going to the web address yourdomain.com/cpanel and logging in by using the Username & Password provided by the hosting provider.

But, the cPanel URL will not always be the same, it can be found in the very first email of yours which you’d have received just after buying the hosting service, otherwise, you can contact your hosting provider for the same.

Step 2: Navigate to the Email Accounts

Either by searching or by scrolling down, try to find an option called Email Accounts. Click on that and you will be taken to the email creation page.

Step 3: Create the Email Account

And, this is the final step.

It was quick, right?

Well, after you enter into the Email Accounts option, you should find a few fields and options to create an Email ID as shown in the image below.

If there is more than one domain hosted on the same host, first, select the domain you want to create the email with and enter the Email ID prefix in the Email field.

It can be your name, contact, email, support, hello, etc. which will look something like:

  • yourname@yourdomain.com
  • contact@yourdomain.com
  • email@yourdomain.com
  • support@yourdomain.com
  • hello@yourdomain.com

You can enter a high-security password by yourself or generate one by using the password generator there but don’t forget to copy and save the password as you would need it while checking the email.

You can enter Mailbox Quota as per your choice and you can change it later too. By the way, 250 MB is enough if you send-receive occasional emails.

Checking domain emails every time by logging into one-by-one can be a real pain but what if I tell you that you can check all your domain emails from your Gmail account itself.
