Export LinkedIn Connections and Other Important Data

You put a lot of time into growing your LinkedIn audience and what if LinkedIn goes bankrupt, or decides to ban your account?

What will happen to your hard-earned connections and other important data?

GONE!!!

Well, there’s an option using which you can export all your LinkedIn data including connections, articles, messages, profile data, invitations, etc.

Let me explain…

Export LinkedIn Connections and Other Important Data

Download Your LinkedIn Data

LinkedIn provides you an option using which you can request an archive of all your data, download, and store it on your computer on a regular basis.

Please note that you will need to have your desktop/laptop open to download the data, you can’t do this from the mobile app.

Here’s a step-by-step guide for that:

#1 – Log in to your LinkedIn account

Open up your web browser, navigate to LinkedIn.com, and log in to your account.

After logging in, move on to the next step.

#2 – Goto the data download page

Click on this link, or navigate to the Settings and Privacy section under the Account option. You will find this after clicking on your profile photo in the top-right corner.

Export LinkedIn Data

After that, click on the Get a copy of your data option and select the type of data archive you want to download; whether you want to download all the data or just some selected ones.

#3 – Request and wait

After you request the archive of the selected data, it will take some time depending upon the amount of data.

However, you will get an email notifying you that your archive file is ready to be downloaded.

Just click on it and download.

That’s it.
