Command to Check DNS Propagation from Terminal

What if you didn’t have to use some 3rd party tool like to check the DNS propagation?

What if you could do this right into your terminal itself?

Just a simple command and you’re done.

dig +noall +answer

Copy-paste the above command into your terminal, replace the existing with the website address that you wanna check, and hit enter.

You’ll see the IP address associated with your website as shown below:           0       IN      A           0       IN      A

And, if the IP address shown here matches with the IP of your web server, your domain DNS propagation is complete.

Yes, you won’t be able to see other details like the location as they show in, but this definitely works and very simple to use too.
