No Ads & Free Audio Recorders for Android

We all know that the newest Androids do not come with a native Voice/Audio Recording apps. And, it becomes very necessary to have one for recording meetings or some important audio.

There are plenty of Audio Recorders on the Android Play Store but most of them are either bloated with annoying ads, or do not records HD audio.

Also, when you search queries like “audio recorder”, “voice recorder”, or “free voice recorder” on the Play Store; it doesn’t provide you with a list of good and ad-free apps. Instead, all the apps that come up are full of ads. Below is an example:

All the apps shown in the screenshot above are full of ads.

I got annoyed using these apps.

But, after digging up a bit, I did find some great, completely free and 100% ad free audio recordings apps on the Android play store.

Here’s the list:

Ad Free Audio Recording Apps for Android

1. Dolby On: Record Audio & Music

You must be aware of the Dolby Sound.

This app has been developed by the Dolby Company itself and provides outstanding recording experience with noise cancellation and various other mixing options.

I am currently using this app as my primary audio recording tool.

2. Audio Recorder (by gitlab.com/axet)

This is a Open Source app which does an excellent job as a simple and light audio recording tool for your Android phones.

3. Audio Recorder (no ads)

This too is an Open Source Audio Recording App for Android. Source Code.

This app lets you record, rename, play and share the audio. It has coloured themes and you can import audio to this app too.

4. Hi-Q MP3 Voice Recorder (Free)

This app is quite simple and easy to use. You can adjust the recording quality and tweak many more settings.

However, I personally do not like this app.

Final Words

I am sure there must be other great apps available on the play store which are completely free and are with no-ads.

But I have personally installed and used these apps mentioned here, and found to be great.

I too download at least 10 mp3 recorders and ended up frustrated. Now iam using getlab that u suggested. Do u have any no ad mp3 player? I use pulsar which is good.
Also any suggestions for mp3 cutter editor?

Thanks for these. I have a pixel phone and don’t like their voice recorder. I have tried a few other apps, but was inundated with ads among other things. This was just what I was looking for.
